Shaping Future Leaders

HKUST Business School is proud to recognize eight exceptional students who have been awarded the AS Watson Scholarship this year for their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, and extracurricular engagement.

Established in 2024, the AS Watson Scholarship is made possible through the generous support of AS Watson Group, the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer. The scholarship aims to nurture future leaders by providing financial support and meaningful learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.

This year marks the second cohort of scholarship recipients, with ten students selected across HKUST. Among them, eight are from the Business School:

  • Jocelyn Alycia ANG (Year 4, Information Systems)
  • CHOW Yee-Tung (Year 4, Information Systems)
  • Jocelyn HEUNG Wing-Tung (Year 4, Global Business & Finance)
  • Pranati KIRUPAKARAN (Year 4, Economics & Information Systems)
  • LAM Wing-Tung (Year 4, Operations Management)
  • LEUNG Hiu-Hin (Year 3, Economics & Finance)
  • Vivin MUPPALA (Year 4, Global Business & Finance)
  • Natalie YE Man-Ching (Year 4, Professional Accounting & Management)

The award presentation ceremony was held at the AS Watson office, where students had the opportunity to meet with senior executives, explore the company’s vibrant work environment, and gain firsthand insights into its operations. The event also featured student sharing sessions, where awardees reflected on their personal growth and aspirations.

Beyond the scholarship, this partnership offers internship opportunities across various departments at AS Watson, enabling students to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings and accelerate their professional development. We are grateful for AS Watson Group’s continued support and shared commitment to empowering the next generation of business leaders.
