Kwong Man Kit, an alumnus of the Business School of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), who majored in Quantitative Finance in 2008, has been selected as one of the “Ten Outstanding Young Persons“ for 2025. This election is organized by the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong with the aim of recognizing outstanding young leaders who have made active contributions to the community. Alumnus Kwong Man Kit (Quantitative Finance, 2008) has won the honor of being one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2025 by using his life experience of overcoming cancer, combined with his experience in expressive arts therapy and the business world, to assist others in facing mental health challenges. Alumnus Kwong Man Kit won this honor in the same way. Kwong Man Kit, who is now an expressive arts therapist, was once diagnosed with advanced lymphoma. With his professional knowledge and profound life experience, he helps others cope with mental health challenges and guides them to find strength and hope in adversity.

Kwong Man Kit said, “I am honored to have grown up in the CUHK Business School. Although I am no longer directly involved in business work, the experience I have accumulated in the college and the business world still deeply influences my professional practice to this day.“

After graduating, Kwong Man Kit worked as an investment bank analyst. During this period, he honed excellent communication skills in the workplace, which have become the core skills of his current therapeutic work. At the same time, his marketing experience also helps him expand expressive arts therapy into different fields.

“My work experience in the business world enables me to better understand the pressure faced by professionals, so I can more effectively support enterprises in improving the physical and mental health of their employees. In addition, my experience in the Student Association of the School of Business Administration at Chung Chi College has taught me how to plan large-scale projects, and this ability has always promoted my development in therapeutic and community work.“

Kwong Man Kit also especially sent a message to the juniors and alumni of CUHK: “If you have a dream in your heart, please pursue it bravely; if you are still exploring, there is no need to be anxious. Don“t limit yourself, keep your faith, and there are always infinite possibilities in life.“
